Lost and Found items in the Main Office! 

Community Service hours for 04/01/2026 through 09/10/2026 are due by 3:25PM on 09/11/2026. We will not accept late submissions. Your reflection letter with digital proof must be shared with Ms. Cauwels in Student Services (jcauwels@bettschools.org) by 3:25PM as well. Please email or stop in and see Ms. Cauwels with any questions.

5 girls battled the heat Saturday during the Clinton JV Invitational. Congratulations to Claire DeDecker and Charley Seneli for bringing home 2nd place in #1 doubles.  3rd place honors for our #2 doubles team of Elle Anderson and Leewona Hicock. In addition, Claire, Charley, Elle and Leewona won 3rd place in singles.  Lydia Arnell-Liu played solidly and played 3 singles matches. Great job girls!!! Girls tennis will travel to North Scott this Thursday for our final dual meet. Go Dawgs!!

Upcoming events/deadlines: 

  • Homecoming guest forms are now available in the activities office.  

  • Today is 988 Day: It’s a day of action to raise awareness about the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.  If you or someone you know is struggling, help is here. Call/text 988 to reach the Lifeline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is hope.

  • Attention students!  Are you low on funds for a homecoming dress?  You are in luck because there is a free HOCO clothing & accessory giveaway on Tuesday and Wednesday Sept 8th & 9th. The location is First Presbyterian Church in Davenport on Iowa Street from 5-7pm, both days.   Questions?  See Mrs Hilton-Cullum in Student Services.

  • Juniors/Sophomores for PSAT: The sign-up for PSAT testing begins Tuesday, September 8th, in Student Services for Juniors Only. Sophomores can sign up beginning Monday, September 14th. Sign up ends Friday, September 18th.  Qualifying scores from this test can lead to significant scholarship money. The cost is $18, payable by check to Bettendorf High School, or can be paid through your Infinite Campus Portal. Please see the Sept. 8th  WAG for more information.

  • Ms. Mitola is buying books! If you have requests for specific books to be added to the BHS Library collection, please fill out this Google Form. 

  • Athletic Events for the Week! Click here! Come out and support the Bulldogs!

  • If you signed up for Powderpuff, you need to attend the mandatory PRIDE on Thursday, September 17th to learn the rules and tie-dye shirts. If you are unable to attend, sign up for the makeup PRIDE on Friday, September 18th.

  • SENIORS! The first round of Homecoming Court voting will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, September 9, during Advisory. This first round is for SENIORS ONLY, so be sure to cast your vote!

  • Cultural Diversity Club  1st meeting is Wednesday, Sept 9th at 7:35 am in B202 - Dr. Roeder's room -- come through the front office :)

  • The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) will be having its first meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 9th at 7:00 am in the choir room! Come through the main doors for faith, friends, and donuts!

  • Like trivia? Like science and math? Come check out Science Bowl, a trivia style competition team covering topics related to science and mathematics. Our first meeting will be on Friday 9/11 from 3:30 to 4:30 in Mrs. Farmer's classroom, D301. Come check it out if you are interested, and reach out to Mrs. Farmer if you have questions!

  • Ready to meet your brand-new best friend? Bett Buddies matches up students to  build awesome, lasting friendships through shared activities, campus events, and simple  hangouts. It’s all about creating a welcoming space where everyone belongs and nobody sits alone.  You MUST email Ms. Jemison by tomorrow if interested in joining.  Our first meeting will be during PRIDE on September 10th

  • The Women in STEM (WiSTEM) will hold their first club meeting on Tuesday September 15th, right after school in Mrs. Rowland’s room D317. If you are interested in learning about all things STEM, please join our first meeting for introductions and thermo-pigmented slime making! 

  • Did you know that BHS has 2 Robotics teams that compete in an international competition every season? We have been competing for over 10 years and are looking for new recruits to carry on the tradition of excellence.We are looking for students who want to compete in a fun and challenging robotics competition against teams locally, across the state of Iowa and beyond. We need team members that are interested in 3D modeling, graphic design, communications, designing and constructing robots, and problem solving. Come join us for BIOBUZZ this season and we will have a lot of fun! No experience necessary to participate. Look for the team posters around the building for more links to more team info and a code to sign up. If you have questions, stop into Ms. Carton-Hon's room in the robotics lab (B101) or email coach McCoy at roboticscoach@bettschools.org.

  • The Speech and Debate Team will be starting their regular practices this week!  If you are interested in joining, please stop by Room D105 any Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday.  If you have any questions, please email Mr. Rankin. Thanks!

  • The Industrial Tech Skills Club will meet this Thursday Sept 10th at 3:30 in B105.  Any student interested in being an officer this year should let Mr. Tolle know.  We will start planning projects for this year this Thursday.

  • The PNB Aviation Club's first build session will be this Thursday Sept 10th from 6-9pm.  See Mr. Tolle for more details if interested!

  • The first DnD Club meeting of the year will take place on Monday September 14 after school in the BHS library! Bring your dice and your friends!

Upcoming PRIDE sessions:

  • September 11th, 2026 marks the 25 anniversary of the tragic events of 9/11. If you would like to show some support (via short notes of appreciation) for our local first responders that keep us safe everyday, please sign up for Mrs. Schanz's PRIDE on Tuesday.  Email Mrs. Schanz with questions.
